I've created Humble Abodes to offer a spectrum of services under an umbrella of interior design, home décor, organization, and home styling. The essential framework: customized services for the client's specific needs, preferences, and budget.
Services are offered at levels from a single project, to a room, up to something more extensive, like providing assistance and consultation with remodel or moving into a new home (or even building one).
Packages are what I expect to be the most commonly used services bundled at a slight discount. If we meet for an In Person Consultation, I would want to also offer you either the Recommendation List or Option Boards.
A room refresh may include an In Person Consultation, Option Boards and no other services because you are willing to do the implementation and execution yourself, you simply needs help with your vision and planning. This would cost about $100. I would come to your space, take pictures & measurements, we'd chat about what you like about the space, what you don't like about the spaces, what your goals are for changing it and what your own personal style likes/dislikes are. Based on our agreed timeline, you'd receive your Option Boards (3) which will be at least 3 slides with new design ideas and links, along with the general recommendations and suggestions for self-execution.
As I am just getting started, some projects, like small builds, maybe a first for me, and that will be disclosed in our first meeting. I also expect to have projects that will be outside of my scope and abilities. Be assured I will never recommend or offer services for anything that is beyond what I know my abilities to be. For any projects I am hired for, there will be extensive research, prep, and planning that goes into before fully implementing and executing.
I'm building a client base from the ground up, so I don't have strict timelines and project plans currently . You may consider signing up for a package soon and then we can make a plan for you to execute parts and use me here & there over a period of time. Having this flexibility also is another way to spread out your budget if you want to take on a bigger project because as hopefully you've realized, affordability is at the forefront of my brain. My intention is not to encourage you to buy more things. I operate from a space of "repurpose, reuse". However, if one of your primary goals is new things, like furniture, art, lighting, then, yes, you'll definitely get those suggestions.
